Everyone loves a treehouse. Or at least that’s the general consensus. This one in particular is located about two hours and 17 minutes outside of Boston in the Berkshires. More detailed directions would have of course been provided via the invitation whether extended verbally or through text. Boring details of which I’m choosing to gloss over so yanno bare with me. The actual treehouse / cabin sleeps 4-5 as in actual bed + combined space for those who prefer their camping with WiFi connection, running water and air condition.
For those more braver souls the surrounding area is pretty much made for the more traditional experience. Tents and sleeping bags would have been encouraged to be brought due to a small supply as well as other personal camping must haves. Bathing suits and floaters too considering there’s a nearby lake just a short hike away for those who would be so inclined. Water guns however will be provided in a ridiculous abundance and variety the likes of which probably most sane people had never seen for epic water fight reasons— but don’t judge— and a small movie projector set up inside that will be set up on the deck for any kid friendly movie watching when the sun goes down, Saturday evening.
The fridge will also be fully stocked in preparation for guests but if anyone wanted to bring in anything else on account of dietary restrictions and or just personal preference they’d be more than welcome to. Available beverages include water bottles a plenty, lemonade, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, Capri suns for little people and beer for not so little people. The dinner menu isn’t prime to win any culinary awards and so now that I’ve lowered your expectations the list would consist of hamburgers, hotdogs, kabobs — either vegetarian or chicken, Mac and cheese, corn on the cob and watermelon. Bread and peanut butter and jelly would be offered for those very particular small picky eaters as well as sweeter items like Dutch apple cobbler and s’more ingredients for dessert. Breakfast would be of a similar simple variety. Eggs, toast, bacon, oatmeal and cinnamon biscuits. Snacks like trail mixes, granola bars, chips and fruit available throughout the day.
And things, more things. You can tell we do this all the time.
Hahaha, you'll never find us till I finish this!
